Team Cookies of Coventry High School Wins 15th URI Calc-Bowl!

The 15th URI Calc-Bowl took place on April 2, 2025. This year, ten teams from Rhode Island high schools competed.

Calc-Bowl is presented annually by the URI Math Department with the support from the URI College of Arts and Sciences. Calc-Bowl is a lively mathematics competition where precalculus and calculus questions are given in multiple-choice format. The competition is “jeopardy-style”: one multiple-choice problem at a time is asked and the first team to buzz in gets to answer the problem. The competition consists of multiple rounds and the exciting final round.

This year the first place went to:

Team Cookies of Coventry High School
Team Members: Hannah Brosseau, Alice Colby, Gianna Ferry, Samuel Hiers,  AJ Larivee
Team coach: Michael Cook

Congratulations Team Cookies!

The second place went to a team from Barrington High School. The third place went to a Combined team from Chariho and South Kingstown High Schools, the fourth to a team from Lincoln High School. Congratulations to all!

We hope to see you back at the 16th Calc-Bowl in Spring 2026!
