How to take the URI Math Placement Exam?
1. Set up your URI Single Sign-On (SSO) account; this is different from your e-Campus credentials.
2. Make sure you are using a compatible device with a stable internet connection.

3.Take your time, you are free to complete the Placement Assessment at your own pace. The system will allow you to access your Placement Assessment for 24 hours. If you need to exit the Placement Assessment for any reason, you will be able to log back in and pick up where you left off.
4.If you’re taking business classes, please click on the ‘Business’ section. For all other students that require taking Math courses , select the ‘All other Majors’ Option. If you require accessibility screen reader accommodations, click on the respective accessibility option.

The URI Math Placement Exam is scheduled to resume on October 10th for incoming freshmen of the Spring 2025 semester.
NOTE: All Spring 2025 incoming freshmen will be automatically granted access to the Aleks login. All other students who may be granted access for example: transfer students, students changing majors, etc. will need to complete an access request form. You must login using a URI Gmail address.
