Calc-Bowl

Calc-Bowl is a lively playoff competition between teams where the questions are multiple-choice pre-calculus and calculus questions, designed to test the teams' math knowledge.

There will be 10-15 teams with a maximum of 5 members per team allowed. One multiple choice problem (sample problem) will be presented at a time. The first team to buzz in, gets to answer the problem. There will be several rounds of play and a final playoff for first place. 2009 Calc-Bowl Flyer

The first Calc-Bowl was in 2007, click here for the URI media report, and was an outstanding success. We will continue to offer the Calc-Bowl every year and encourage teams from local high schools and colleges to paticpate.
