Class Time

(Section 0001)     Tuesday / Thursday   11:00am - 12:15pm,     Chafee Hall 244 (Section 0001).
(Section 0002)     Tuesday / Thursday   2:00pm - 3:15pm,         Lippitt Hall 205 (Section 0002).
Please turn off your cellphones, tablets, laptops, and other electronic gadgets during the class.
Regular attendance is expected.

Prerequisite

MTH 142 or equivalent. MTH 243 is recommended.

An Introduction to Differential Equations and Their Applications, by Stanley Farlow, DOVER Publications, Inc, 1994 (or 2006 reprint).
Please bring this text with you to every class!

Differential Equations, Schaum's Series.   Low-priced, with oodles of solved practise problems, used by generations of calculus students.

A no-cost resource is Paul's Online Notes , that in addition to notes also contains many completely solved examples.

Computing Needs

A graphing calculator is not required. We will utilize software Mathematica which is free to URI students.
