Class Time

Tuesday / Thursday   12:30pm - 1:45pm,     Swan Hall 215.
Please turn off your cellphones, tablets, laptops, and other electronic gadgets during the class.
Regular attendance is expected.

Prerequisite

Required: MTH 243 (multivariable calculus) and MTH 244 (intro to differential equations) or permission of the instructor.

Desired: Some experience with programming and writing proofs.

Numerical Analysis, by R. Burden, D. Faires, and A. Burden, 10th Edition, Cengage Learning.
(ISBN-13:  978-1-305-25366-7 ;     ISBN-10:   1-305-25366-3)
9th Edition is also acceptable! Please bring this text with you to every class!

SOFTWARE

MATLAB, The MathWorks. Available in the Engineering Computer Center, Kirk Hall 203
(primarily for engineering and GSO students). For lab hours see here.
On your home computer you may use the freely available Matlab clone, GNU Octave.
