About the course: This second course of linear algebra is aimed at math majors and graduate students.Our goal will be to understand the structure of linear operators on vector spaces.


  • Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors.
  • Inner-Product Spaces.
  • Operators on Inner-Product Spaces.
  • Operators on Complex and Real Vector Spaces.
  • Prerequisites: MTH 215 or a first course in Linear Algebra equivalent to it.

    Grading Policy:

    Your grade will be determined by your scores on

  • Exam I (midterm)   : 100pts
  • Final                       : 100pts
  • Homeworks           : 100pts
  • Project                    : 100pts
  • Exam Schedule:

    Exam I :         Wed. October 19th.         
    Final Exam:    Monday, December 19th., 3:00-6:00 PM.
