The purpose of this project is to provide an overview of a specific type of linear code, cyclic codes, studied during the Fall 2004's Introduction to Coding and Information Theory. In the following links you will find a brief summary of cyclic codes, how they work, how they are generated, a specific type of cyclic code (Hamming Codes), and any necessary definitions or references. I found this topic to be quite interesting and wish to share its ideas.
