For Wed 10/8: Do problems FP sec2.1/3,7-17odd,21,23,25,37,39,77. Read sec 2.2. and the reading assignment for Topic 12 in sections A.2, A.3. (This should be mostly review).

For Fri 10/10: Finish the problems on the Syllabus for Topic 11 and the review problems in A.2, A.3 in the FP book. Look over the text material for Topics 12 and 13. Work on the new MyMathLab assignment that is due Oct. 15.

For Wed 10/22: Read Sections 4.1 and 4.2 in FP. Also start to work through the SECOND tutorial program in the syllabus for Topic 16 (you can get to it directly at http://hypatia.math.uri.edu/Courses/spring02/mth111/paklog.html) Finish the problems for Topic 14 (Rational functions). Finish MyMathLab assignment. Practice exam problems will be available on-line by Wed. These will be collected on Monday Oct. 27 and there will be a quiz on Monday consisting of randomly chosen problems from the practice exam.
