Introduction
MTH 243 is a third calculus course, with the focus on functions of 2,3, or more variables and the extensions of the ideas of elementary calculus to higher dimension.
We will continue to use Maple 6 in this course. The Maple software is available in the campus computer labs. It can also be purchased from the RI Book Company at the Kingston Emporium at a special highly discounted price for use on your own personal computer. Our work with Maple will be organized into Maple Worksheets that you can download from the web site and which are also available in the campus computer labs. You will find more information below.
