Pi Mu Epsilon is a national honorary mathematics
society founded in 1914, with chapters on more than 150 campuses and a membership
of more than 30,000. The University of Rhode Island's chapter, is called
Rhode Island Alpha and was established in 1961. We are the 88th
chapter and we have inducted over 200 students since 1961. The current faculty advisor for this chapter
is James Baglama.
