Key Idea
A stemplot is a good way to represent data for small datasets. Stemplots are quicker to create than histograms and give more detailed information. Each value in the dataset is represented as a stem and a leaf. The stem consists of all but the rightmost digit, and the leaf is the rightmost digit. A stemplot resembles a histogram turned sideways.
