MTH437 (Advanced Calculus and Applications I)
Math 437 is an advanced course in calculus and its applications that satisfies the general education requirement for math at the University of Rhode Island. The prerequisite is MTH243. This course covers the geometry of Euclidean space, differentiation, higher-order derivatives, maxima and minima, vector-valued functions, double and triple integrals, integrals over paths and surfaces, the integral theorems (Green's theorem, Stokes' theorem, Gauss' theorem) of vector analysis and their applications.
