Software Projects:
In this course we will use Rwhich is a free software. The computer projects are created to help you learn new concepts. There is available Matlab (commercial software) at engineeering labs. Its free version is called Octave. You can also use commercial computer algebra systems Mathematica (URI has a license for it) and Maple. Matlab (commercial software) is also available at engineeering labs. Its free version is called Octave. A student can also use free CASs: SymPy (based on Python), Maxima, or Sage. We follow the standard textbook "Linear Algebra and Its Applications 5th Ed", by David C. Lay, Steven R. Lay, Judi J. McDonald, Pearson, 2015. ISBN-10: 032198238X; ISBN-13: 978-1118233788
