Grading is based on three midterm exams and comprehensive final exam. The course average is calculated as follows:

Exam 2 24%
Final Exam 36%
Quizzes (top 8) 16%

E1, E2 = Exams, FE = final exam. Common midterm exams for section 02 will be given at night.Their time and day will be announced later based on availability of rooms. Class work includes quizzes, homeworks, attendance, presentations, and special projects---it may affect the grade up/down to half. The grade system is based on the following dustribution:
A..100%-93%       A-: 90%       B+: 87%       B: 83%       B-: 80%       C+: 77%       C: 73%       C-: 70%       D+: 67%       D: 60%       F..59%-0%
+/- Grades may be given for borderline percentages. In borderline cases. I reserve the right to raise any student’s semester grade for contributing to our class with a positive attitude, hard work, and active participation.

The final Exam will be given on December 19, at 3:00 pm in Pastore 122; is comprehensive. Review to the Final exam.

Midterm exams:
Exam 1: October 8, Thursday,
Exam2:  November 2, Thursday,
Final Exam December 19, at 3:00 pm.

Tutors are available at both the providence and kingston campuses. Check with them for specific hours. Also, you can make individual appointments with me. For this, contact me by phone, e-mail, or ask me during class.
