First and Second Order Differential Equations, Part II

In the first section, we study free oscillations under presence of a damping force. In the second section, we look at another important application of second order ODEs: oscillations of a system subject to an external driving force. The latter type of system is governed by a nonhomogeneous linear ODE.

Note: Most of the time when working with differential equations, we load the package DEtools. It is also nice to have the package plots loaded in. However, those packages consume a lot of memory. Since this worksheet requires only the basic commands, like dsolve and basic plotting, we shall not load the packages.
