Exams and Evaluation

There will be three exams given outside of class, evenings at 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, on Feb. 16, March 29, and April 26. All sections meet in BISC Auditorium. A comprehensive final exam will be given during the final exam period. The time and place for the final will be announced in class and on this page. The exams will count 100 points each, the final 200 points, and 100 points will be based on work your instructor assigns in class. This may include collected homework, quizzes on the homework and readings, or projects.

The exams will reflect the variety of the homework problems. Do not expect to be asked merely to solve homework problems with the numbers changed. The best way to prepare for the exams, and to develop confidence in your ability to solve problems, is to work on the homework problems as suggested. Your class may be slightly behind or ahead at any given time. Some problems may be done in class or as homework, as your instructor chooses.
